YESSSSSSSSSS

i just started using Fruity Maximus- Clear Master it is really useful. Makes mixing tracks more solid. Everything comes threw really nice in this piece. Nexus is great, Are you using VC3 samples? Great job i really like this piece and most of your music in general!

Really nice

Had me hooked from the intro. Really nice melody here. Everything is mixed nicely. no complaints here. Keep it up i wanna see more. :)

Definitly a unique take on dubstep

I feel the same way about dubstep though. it has an a quality that works well with orchestra type sounds. In my first dubstep submission i did the same things with choirs, piano's, voilins. Of course all my mixing was off unlike this which is mastered very well. Not much is wrong with the piece. Just maybe a suggestion to play around with is to have a stronger and quicker bass wobble the third time it comes in cuz i feel a slight speed up in the instruments intensity like it is building to something then the same mellow bass wobble comes in and it fits fine but i was expecting something stronger then a break down like you did at the end.

10/10 5/5 no matter.

I do appreciate the tips. Maybe I'll mess around with adding some intensity/speed to the wobbles later on in the song.

oh man..

been listening to this song for the past 3 years. thought i come back and give it the respect it deserves. Never produced music when i started coming to your newgrounds page but now i am and it is really cool. Feels like just yesterday i was walking to school playing this song feeling like nothing could stop me.

HEYYYYYYY YOUR BACK!

Didn't know you even posted music here anymore! Sick beat. the bass hits perfect. The steel drum might be a little too intrusive at times. lower the frequency a bit i guess. Everything else seems on point. Keep making beats!

Greeksta-69 responds:

Oh yeah I think you mean the snare and yeah I agree it kinda needs to be fixed because the roll is the same as the actual beat so it kinda overlaps and messes up.

Thanks for the review

ears are bleeding

thanks alot.

Bacon92 responds:

yet you rated it a "10"?, interesting

I'm really sorry

The melody is horribly out of tune. Nothing matches up to the beat at all. The drum sample hats sound random and just thrown in with no care. The only thing that works is the bass somewhat and the bass drum. The rest is really bad. I am not sure if u intended everything to be off key and off beat but you succeeded at that. Aside from how it sounds the song is 5 minutes long and repeats the same 8 bars over and over with a break for over 3 minutes then changes to something that sounds even worse for about 40 seconds. This could of been compressed into a 50 second clip and be the same exact thing. I am lost for words about this track made it to best tracks for this week.

DON'T BE SAD

Ultor is hard to please :P. This is pretty cool man. Great job. 5/5 10/10

:D! yay

Was a fun project to work on. very good song it came out to be.

Very good

Build up is on point. I am guessing you understand how to make a successful wobble because the one you have is clean and on beat. A really helpful distortion tool to make the wobble bass stand out from the other basses and stuff is Ohmicide. It is not free but there is a torrent out there where i got mine and it is clean and works great. That should really enhance the wobble you got going. In term of where to go from here after the wobble goes on for awhile have a breakdown where you bring back the basics and introduce a new wobble and then run both wobbles together and that is that. The drum patterns u have work really well so i think u got that all figured out. the melodies also r really well done. that square pluck in the beginning should be brought back with a slower drum pace in the breakdown section and then the piano from the wobble section should continue with it then build up to the new wobble. For the new wobble use the same melody pattern just change where the drum hits and the lfo speed. Other than that you got something really great. Taking it from what you have the rest is simple composing and mixing. I am looking forward to the final product of this. Also keep running that filter you got going to help the breakdown and rebuild, i think you know how to do that better than i do lol.
