Deep intense.

Kinda getting the feeling about this piece. Really deep stuff about huge issues in the sound clips you got going. Got me thinking through out the song about them and it was really crazy how it flowed though. At one point i thought the song was going dubstep and some crazy scream basses would just drop outa no where. Great work though, that mid section was really weird how it almost got quite but i heard alot of different things n my heart was beating... You should really enter this into the Heavenly/ Uplifting contest on the NG Audio Forums even though it would be a late entry. I loved it.

ahhh, i wish i wudve knew about the competition ahead of time :/. thank you anyways for the review tim :)

:D this is just great

I love how the layers just keep adding up and it just creates this great feeling and then the piano drives it away but it keeps the same feel and then the lead becomes more clear. It is constantly playing back and forth. Jason is a really great artist to work with, even though i never have, i think he knows a lot about this type of style and it always is great. Keep working on this! it can be so much longer and complete! you have everything right here..

Thanks for the encouraging review! We might have to go back and extend it... If we do, I'll be sure to let you know! :)

I'm not exactly sure what it is, but there's something about a musical reboot, where the song is pulled down to the bare essential and then built back up that I just love... So, of course I had to do it! =3

The best thing about working with Jason is that he's very good at making sure it's a learning experience. And it is! It really is!

Oh man

Knowing that you can make basses like this with Massive i feel i haven't even scratched the surface of learning about what Massive can do. Might need some help learning more about Massive after hearing this. My dubstep skills are low but i really love the genre.

TheBiocide responds:

Thanks man! Just keep working and messing around with it and you're bound to make something sick. Trust me :)

Great hooks..

Most of the success of the songs i been listening to by you is the hooks in the background. They really tie it all back together and it doesn't feel like it is missing anything. Most dubstep focuses 2 much on bass and it loses the feel you are bringing to it. Dubstep that is just bass and wooble feels empty sometimes, unless it is layered 5 times over like most of BassNectars stuff. It really works very nicely because it is isn't too intrusive. So keep making great hooks and i think the bass will fall right in. I didn't even get into your drum patterns which are great with that hat roll, idk what else to call it. I think it really works to play with how the hat becomes a melody in between the standard bassdrum/snare beat of dubstep to play on how the song unfolds. Overall mixing is done perfect to let to bass breath and let the hook ride under it. Fading the drum pattern going into a drop. it's not noticeable but i picked it up and knew it worked great to umph up that drop.

Top notch stuff .. 10/10

Wow, that was probably one of the best reviews I've ever gotten, man. Thanks a ton for that. I've never had anyone really pick apart one of my songs before, but that really helped me get some greater insight on what I'm doing right.

It's always nice to get some great feedback like this, thanks again my friend!

oh yes.

sweetness to the ear. that bass drum or w.e it is is so nice. It really works with these high pitch synths. Takes me totally away. i really liked it track, stands out to me the most.

Feddey responds:

Thanx!
Glad you enjoyed it ;)

Nah son it was good.

Sub bass was really good. not enough wobble like they said but if u leave this sub the way it is cuz i really like it and add another wooble on top of this or add a synth like in your intro then it will be badass.

DLBeezy responds:

Thanks man. This was made in about 20 minutes so I din't exptec much, just experimenting around with styles.

LOVE IT

Good work on this.

pyrotek45 responds:

Dub Trance :D

I really liked introducing the wobble in there on the builds. Really mellow song. I feel the lead needs a little more work on the sound quality. I like what you did with the lead though, how it changes pitch and sounds like how a dubstep bassline would work. Pretty neat concept. :D

Catstuffer responds:

Thanks, yea, I'm always trying to inorcporate new things and explore genres. The lead your are mentioning, that would be the squeeky thing that does the sliding around right? Maybe you would have wanted to hear it with some more stereo separation. This song is highly separated, except that lead is not.

Thanks for your review!

Never seize to impress

Great stuff. Glad you still participate in the newgrounds community. Wish you all the best for 2011 getting further than you ever imagined!

F-777 responds:

Thanks so much =).

Oh yessir

Very niceeeeee. Did you use 3xosc for the bass wubs? If not what did you use cuz it came out really nice.

Catstuffer responds:

Thanks! The wubs were made from the ground up using Sytrus. 3xOsc just was too limited to create the oscillations

Thanks for reviewing! :D
